This project has been challenging, to say the least, but I’m happy to have it completed. It’s kind of a book from the heart, that combines my love of all things Titanic (and a couple of great friends) with my skill of crafting words and images. The book contains 60 images, many never seen before, that tell the story of how the passengers on board the Titanic and the survivors were affected by the sinking. I talked to people all over the world who have a relationship to the Titanic (whether it’s mythological, historical, or personal) and learned many stories of their own as well. These were then combined with illustrations from my favorite Titanic artists to produce this book of beauty and sadness. I’m also excited to announce that my first children’s book will be coming out this winter. I’m a big girl now, so I’m thrilled to have the chance to write about the Titanic for kids!
